Ekouaer made its mark at New York Fashion Week, bringing its signature blend of accessible luxury and unmatched comfort to the Big Apple for the very first time. Known for its chic yet cosy loungewear, the label’s debut was a celebration of effortless elegance and a testament to Ekouaer’s growing global influence.
Showcasing two collections—one designed in-house and another in collaboration with Isabella Cortese, co-founder of Nube Studio—the runway was transformed into a sanctuary of style, serenity, and sophistication.
The in-house range focused on downtime staples that every woman needs, elevating the every day with supremely soft fabrics and expert tailoring that flatter the figure without compromising on comfort. Think silky pyjama sets, fluid robes, and chic loungewear separates that you’ll want to wear far beyond the bedroom.
Each piece was crafted from breathable materials and cut to the perfect fit, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to quality and comfort, creating loungewear that feels like a warm embrace—timeless, versatile, and designed to make every moment feel a little more special.

Opening the show was 90s-supermodel-royalty Helena Christensen, who strutted down the runway in a satin silk pyjama set paired with a dainty lacy top—an ensemble so chic it could easily transition from a lazy Sunday morning to cocktails with friends. Her look set the tone: Sophisticated, relaxed, and dripping in understated glamour.
The collaboration with Isabella Cortese followed, inspired by the natural world, it used floral prints to capture three distinct moments of blooming during the spring-summer journey.
Cortese’s designs felt like wearable poetry, taking the audience on a visual and emotional journey from misty spring mornings to the golden hues of midsummer evenings and the tranquil beauty of midnight skies. Through each transition, the collection evoked the passage of time and the emotions tied to it, blending minimalism with the timeless elegance of flowers.

One standout piece was a flowing satin nightdress with delicate floral detailing, styled with a scrunchie on the model’s wrist and a pillow tucked under her arm—a playful nod to the carefree nature of Ekouaer’s ethos, and just because it’s Fashion Week, darlings.

Another memorable look was a robe styled casually with jeans, flip-flops, and statement shades, proving that Ekouaer’s loungewear can take you from bedtime to boogie in style.
This show was more than just a showcase of clothes—it was a statement of intent. The 2025 collection embodies a new kind of elegance, one that embraces authenticity and celebrates the softer side of life. It’s about escaping the noise of the outside world, connecting with your inner self, and finding beauty in the little moments.
With exquisite tailoring and sumptuously soft fabrics, each piece is designed to wrap you in comfort while reminding you of life’s sweetness.
Ekouaer’s debut at NYFW highlighted the brand’s journey toward global recognition and underscored its commitment to its main mission: To inspire and connect with audiences worldwide by offering a sanctuary of tranquillity in the form of fashion.
With a philosophy rooted in the exploration of nature and self, it isn’t just creating loungewear, but a lifestyle. This is clothing that speaks to your soul, elevates your every day, and invites you to bloom with charm and grace, whether you’re at home or on the go.
