The weekend is finally here – and we’re all in for a well-deserved extended break to mark Eid Al Adha. Make the most of the days off with GRAZIA’s curated guide to Dubai’s most exclusive escapes from June 14 to 18. From relaxing at the city’s nail salons to unwinding at rooftop lounges with breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline, we have something for everyone. Whether you’re seeking tranquil pampering or vibrant culinary experiences, join us as we uncover the city’s hidden gems for a rejuvenating extended weekend.

A Luxe Mani-Pedi

Soak is the GRAZIA team’s go-to nail salon. Located in a quiet little nook between Jumeirah and Satwa, the salon is super chic and a calming haven from the hustle and bustle outside. Its relaxed and inviting atmosphere is a testament to Soak’s owner Kate, whose friendly, personable approach to both her staff and clients is apparent from the outset. One of the few salons in the city that specialises in Biab, this is the place to treat yourself to a long-lasting, nail-strengthening mani, carried out with expert attention to detail.

Skin Glow-Up

We’re nearly halfway through the year – and let’s face it, 2024 has been a busy one. And often it can mean it shows on your skin. Why not take this Eid Al Adha break to give yourself a bit of TLC with a premium facial? The Mandarin Oriental Jumeira has the ultimate HydraFacial experience available this long weekend. Enter the Mandarin Platinum. Priced at Dhs1,600, the 90-minute luxury facial includes everything you could think of (and more), from lymphatic drainage to deep cleansing to hydration to LED light therapy. Your skin will thank you for indulging in this luxe treatment.

Dine at ARETHA

Aretha, the brand-new culinary hotspot in the St. Regis Gardens on The Palm Jumeirah, is as much a glamorous soiree as it is a delicious dinner. The restaurant, bar, lounge is inspired by the soul and funk of the ’60s and ’70s – think live music that’s an homage to the “golden age of music”, a space imbued with retro-chic décor, and a menu of craft cocktails and unforgettable dishes. Order the wagyu beef rossini, the poached egg caviar, and grilled rock lobster for a meal that’ll be as memorable as the show you’re about to see.

Breakfast in the clouds

GRAZIA life hack: Instead of buying tickets to the Burj Khalifa Observation Deck, book yourself in for breakast at At.mosphere instead. For Dhs450, the Decadence Breakfast Menu starts with a four-tier starter of pastries, cheese, fruits, yogurts and cold cuts. Discerning diners will then move onto the a la carte menu, choosing one main course (think eggs benedict, omelettes etc), and either a croffale (croissant + waffle) or chia seed pudding for dessert.

Daycationing at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk

During Dubai’s torrid summer temps, there’s not much else to do on the weekend than pitch up at a fabulous pool for the day. Soleil Pool & Lounge, the French Riviera-inspired pool and restaurant at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, boasts a daycation offer that costs Dhs150 per adult, with Dhs100 redeemable on F&B.

Yes way rosé

Petition to make International Rosé Day an official public holiday, anyone? Celebrate GRAZIA’s favourite novelty holiday of the year at LPM, DIFC. For just Dhs150, the French fine dining restaurant is offering free-flowing rosé as part of its business lunch until June 28th. And this Saturday 15th June, LPM are celebrating Rosé Day from 7:30 PM onwards, where each table will be gifted with a complimentary bottle of grape, (that you’ll drink out of LPM’s iconic pink stem glasses, we hasten to add), plus live music from Gypsy Soul followed by a DJ set.

Cool Down with a soft Serve
