While Palestine and Lebanon continuously face injustice and devastating casualties, a myriad of influential celebrities are standing up to do their part.
Taking their stance, the Kattan sisters, Huda and Mona, founders of Huda Beauty and Kayali respectively, recently took to Instagram to share their support amidst the ongoing crises.
Combining forces, the sisters will be donating $500,000 (Dhs1.8 million) to charitable organisations that provide support to the victims of the conflict.
Highlighting the humanitarian crises, the sisters iterated, “Huda Beauty and Kayali will be donating $500,000 to Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) and the Lebanese Red Cross.”
These organisations have been providing relief aid across the Middle East. From essential medical care, shelter and food resources.
The Kattan sisters further added, “We truly believe that with compassion and unity, we can come together to stand up for humanity.”
