Grab the tissues because it looks like ultimate cool couple Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid’s two-year relationship might be over.

Though neither the singer nor model has commented on the status of their romance, after fans noticed the pair hadn’t posted about each other for weeks, someone submitted a question to Instagram celebrity gossip account @DeuxMoi asking what was going on between the usually public PDA couple. Quickly, two anonymous sources wrote in saying Hadid and Lipa had broken up a few weeks ago, around the same time as both The Sun and The Daily Mail reported they were “on the rocks.”

@DeuxMoi added a few days later that the two have been known to “break up/get back together/break up/get back together” over the course of their romance, however, sources are now saying this time it appears to be the real deal. The split is reportedly due to each of their busy schedules and the fact that Lipa currently lives in London where she is recording her new album, while Hadid is based in New York. Previously, the pair lived in Malibu, Los Angeles together and Hadid also did a stint in London during the pandemic.

Earlier this month, sources spoke to The Sun, saying, “The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as travelling so much and being apart is proving tough. Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.”

Hadid and Lipa were first spotted together in June 2019. Lipa was friends with Hadid’s older sisters, Gigi and Bella, and the relationship reportedly started after he asked Gigi to play matchmaker.

Last year, Lipa, who often shares photos of Hadid and their puppy to her Instagram, wrote a tribute to him online for their 1-year anniversary. “Nothing sweeter than 365 days joint at the hip with you” she wrote alongside a red heart emoji. Meanwhile, Hadid told Rolling Stone, “I’m very comfortable in the relationship, more so than any others.”

I’m not crying, you’re crying.
