Billie Eilish, known for her hauntingly beautiful vocals and unique style, and Jesse Rutherford, the lead vocalist of the band The Neighbourhood, have been linked romantically by fans who have noticed their interactions on social media and public appearances together. But yesterday, a rep for the 21-year-old singer told Page Six that the couple have parted ways. “We can confirm Billie and Jesse did split amicably and remain good friends,” the rep said. The rep also denied any rumours of cheating involved.
Back in October 2022, Eilish confirmed her relationship with Rutherford in an interview with Vanity Fair, after photos circulated of the pair kissing.
“Yeah, I do [have a boyfriend now],” she confirmed at the time. “And it’s really cool, and I’m really excited, and I’m really happy about it.”
With a 10 year age gap, fans were concerned when the relationship was confirmed, but neither Eilish nor Rutherford seemed to be concerned as they dressed as a baby and an old man last Halloween, as a response to the critics.
