If Dubai Bling introduced the world to the emirate’s glittering social elite, Netflix’s upcoming series Desi Bling is about to turn the dial up a notch.

The new reality series, which is set to hit the streaming platform in 2026, takes viewers inside the high-gloss world of Dubai’s ultra-wealthy Indian community.

And with the first teaser shared by Netflix, it’s clear this show doesn’t know what subtlety means and extravagance is everything.

What is Desi Bling, the new Netflix series?

Clearly taking inspiration from the highly popular series Dubai Bling, Netflix describes Desi Bling as a peek into the lives of ultra-wealthy Indian expats in the UAE, where business empires, celebrity egos and personal drama collide.

From private jets to designer wardrobes to one cast member casually announcing that her husband buys her three kilos of gold per year (approximately worth $500,000), the teaser promises peak reality entertainment in the form of gossip, fractured relationships, shifting alliances and more.

Essentially, the show appears to blend desi drama with big egos and even bigger stakes.

Who is in the cast of Desi Bling?

The show is set to welcome a mix of Dubai’s expat power players and some recognisable faces from Indian television.

Front and centre of the series is Rizwan Sajan, the founder and chairman of the Danube Group, who is a self-made billionaire in the Dubai real estate landscape. Starring alongside him is his son, Adel Sajan, part of the next generation of the Danube Group, and his wife, Sana Sajan.

Then there’s Satish Sanpal, Founder and Chairman of ANAX Holding, and his wife Tabinda. So far from the teaser, you’ll know him as the husband who gifts his wife three kilos of gold per year.

The Netflix teaser also introduces business executive Dyuti Parruck, known as “Mr Golden Visa”; Pamala Serena and Iryna Kinakh, both fashion influencers; and Janvee Gaur.

The show also welcomes the Mirza twins, Alizey and Lailli, who hail from London but are now based in Dubai, alongside their mother Mona Mirza, who’s the founder of Biolite Clinic.

By way of established TV stars, Desi Bling also brings Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash into the fold. The pair are well known in India following their time on Bigg Boss 15.

When will Desi Bling premiere?

While a release date has not been announced, the show was unveiled at Netflix India’s “Next on Netflix India 2026” showcase and is confirmed for a 2026 premiere. UAE and GCC viewers will get access at the same time as the global release. Watch this space.
