It’s safe to say Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are a power couple. He, a legendary footballer still at the top of his game, and her, a firm favourite on the fashion scene.
But for this pair, family is everything. Having recently relocated to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the couple are introducing their children to new experiences and culture, but it has arguably been a difficult 18 months for Ronaldo and Georgina.
In April 2022, the couple announced the birth of their twins, a baby girl and baby boy, but sadly revealed that the baby boy had died. Elaborating on that moment in her Netflix reality show I Am Georgina, the model described it as “the best and the worst moment of my life”, but added that “life goes on… I have reasons to move on and be strong.”
At the end of 2022, it was announced Ronaldo had signed with Riyadh-based football club Al Nassr and the entire Ronaldo clan relocated at the beginning of 2023 to the Saudi capital.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr
Cristiano Ronaldo became a father for the first time in 2010. He welcomed Cristiano Jr on June 17, 2010. However, Ronaldo has chosen to keep the identity of the mother of his first-born private, telling Jonathan Ross in 2015, “Some points in life are private and people have to respect the privacy.” Upon the birth of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., Ronaldo publicly stated that his son’s mother wished to remain anonymous, and he would be the child’s sole guardian. Now 13, Cristiano Jr is following in his father’s footsteps, becoming a keen footballer himself.
Eva Maria and Mateo Ronaldo
Seven years after welcoming his first child, Ronaldo welcomed twins, a baby boy and a baby girl, in June 2017 via a surrogate. The new dad named the twins Eva Maria and Mateo and, like with Cristiano Jr., he chose to keep the identity of the surrogate private. It was around the same time he welcomed Eva Maria and Mateo, Ronaldo met Georgina. The Argentinian model had been working in Gucci store in Madrid as a sales assistant at the time when they met.
Alana Martina
Later that same year, Georgina and Ronaldo welcomed their first child together. Georgina gave birth on November 12 to a baby girl, whom the couple called Alana Martina.
Bella Esmeralda And Ángel
In October 2021, Ronaldo and Georgina announced the exciting news they were expecting twins together. “Delighted to announce we are expecting twins👶🏻👶🏻,” he shared with his hundreds of millions of Instagram followers. “Our hearts are full of love – we can’t wait to meet you ❤️🏠#blessed.” Ronaldo shared two photos of himself and Georgina with their ultrasound scan and another of the proud dad with his four eldest kids.
A boy and a girl were born in April 2022, however, tragedy struck when their son died soon after Georgina gave birth. “It is with our deepest sadness that we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,” Ronaldo said, announcing the tragic news. “Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.”
The couple named the baby boy Ángel.
Despite the tragedy, the couple, along with their five children, are living their best possible lives together. Having enjoyed a family fun-filled summer together in Europe, they recently returned to Saudi Arabia where the football season kicked off.
The question remains, will there be more mini Ronaldos brought into the world or is this it for the next generation?
