As Mademoiselle Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel once said, “Chance is my soul.”
Introducing the latest addition to Chanel’s illustrious fragrance family: Chance Eau Splendide, a creation that dances on the edge of paradox: luminous yet grounded, sparkling yet steeped in mystery. And at its effervescent heart? Angèle, Belgian pop prodigy and Chanel’s magnetic new muse.
Since the release of Brol in 2019, Angèle has carved out her own path in the entertainment industry with her vivacious spirit and honed musical talent. Having graced Chanel’s orbit as Beauty and Fashion Ambassador since 2020, Angèle returns now, at 29, for her next act as the face of Chance Eau Splendide—a fragrance as joyful, spontaneous and multifaceted as she is.
Starring in its official campaign, the singer is directed by cinematic dream-weaver Jean-Pierre Jeunet, featuring her original track ‘A Little More’. Set in a surreal fairground hall of mirrors, the film becomes a metaphor for the endless chances we dare to take and the allure of uncertainty and promise when we seize opportunities and roll the dice.

Composed by Olivier Polge, Chanel’s new olfactory venture reimagines chance not as whimsy but as intention—brave and effervescent. In a signature round bottle now hued in mischievous violet, Chance Eau Splendide opens with a sparkling raspberry accord, blushed with rose and violet. The heart blooms with radiant rose geranium from the Maison’s own fields in Grasse, grounded by a sophisticated trail of powdery iris, cedar, and sensuous white musk.
For Chanel, chance has always been more than serendipity. It’s a philosophy that compels us to lean into the romance of life’s uncertainties. With Chance Eau Splendide, fortune takes shape, with Angèle leading the way, spurred by the pulse of possibility.
