Congratulations are in order for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly, who announced their engagement on Instagram yesterday, 1.11.22. The singer proposed to Fox under a Bayan Tree and shared that it was the same tree they “fell in love under” – aww. Not only did nature play a role in the proposal, but in the design concept of the ring too. Its double bands were shaped like thorns holding both of the couple’s precious birthstones (Emerald for Megan and a Diamond for MGK) – symbolising “two halves of the same soul.” It looked gorgeous on Megan, who wore an all-black two-piece outfit made of a cutout bra top and maxi skirt.
It wouldn’t be a Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelley announcement if they didn’t involve some Tumblr-esque language. The Bride-to-Be waxed lyrical in the caption of her engagement announcement video, sharing how “just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes. …and then we drank each other’s blood.”
