Between the months of June and September the usually-bustling metropolis of New York City is deserted for the coastline where locals find reprieve from the heat and humidity. For A-listers and the affluent, The Hamptons in Long Island is a go-to destination. This week it was announced that Sarah Jessica Parker would offer up her Hamptons hideaway on Booking.com so you can live the real-life version of Sex and the City.

The actress and designer revealed the paid partnership on social media overnight alongside a video tour of the beachfront home. “I love spending summer days out East and just listed my slice of beachside heaven on @bookingcom so others can experience the same,” she wrote in the caption.

The home sits just metres away from the beach and features colourful interiors and homewares – think a peach bathroom and blue velvet lounges – an outdoor seating area and lime green bikes (not to be confused with electric hire bikes).

Unfortunately the idyllic getaway is available for just two nights, only between August 26 and August 28. According to the listing, it will become bookable from August 23 12pm ET (or August 24 at 2am AEST for Australian readers) and is available “on a first-come, first-served basis”. The cost? Just $19.98 USD, “the year of my breakout role as Carrie Bradshaw,” Parker added.

It’s well worth trying to book the stay if you’re close to New York. The experience will also include a pair of SJP pumps to keep, a shopping trip in Amagansett Square and a fully-stocked cocktail bar. Consider us sold.

The collaboration arrives after the SATC reboot And Just Like That (despite doubts) was renewed for second season in March. According to HBO Max, episode one of the series – whether you loved it or not – was the most viewed premiere ever on the service.
