From the worlds of makeup, skincare, haircare and beyond, I’ve rigorously put the best new products through their paces to see what really deserves pride of place on a Beauty Editor’s vanity. Hey, it’s a hard job, but someone has to do it. From luxurious skincare to peeper perfecting products and the best lash-loving mascaras in the business, these are the best new beauty products to stock up on this month. You’re welcome.
Dolce & Gabbana
Part of Dolce & Gabbana’s dreamy new Devotion collection, this luxurious liquid lipstick is my new statement smile go-to. Not only does it glide easily and effortlessly onto lips, but its light-as-air texture leaves pouts super soft with no tight, dry feeling. Not to mention the fact it lasts for ages (it saw me through a delicious Korean dinner and didn’t budge) and that it’s packed with all-vegan ingredients, including an upcycled active from Sicilian avocados that boosts hydration. With everything from creamy nudes to soft pinks and vivid corals, there’s a hue for any occasion. The only problem? Picking just one.
Charlotte Tilbury
To say I’m obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury’s iconic Magic Cream would be an understatement. I was on the brink of slathering my entire body with it until she (finally) launched the body version. No joke. So, when she went and announced her brand-new gel-cream formula, which promises to hydrate skin for a whopping 100 hours, I was excited but worried that I couldn’t possibly love it as much as the original. Until I tried it, that is. Despite its rich, creamy texture, it melts into skin in seconds and instantly imparts a refreshing, gel finish that creates a gorgeous instant glow. Plus, it’s packed with whizzy ingredients (niacinamide, squalane, peptides and water proteins included) to support hydration within the skin’s cells while calming inflammation, reducing redness, minimising pores and breakouts. In a word? Magic.

What do you get when Pierre Hardy designs the packaging and Greek makeup artist (who’s worked his magic on the likes of Carla Bruni and Cindy Crawford ) Gregoris Pyrpylis develops the hues and formulas? Pure palette perfection. Well, this is Hermès, after all. Meet your new eye essential courtesy of the stunning Ombres d’Hermès Eye Shadow Quartets. Each of the six palettes boats four beautiful shades designed to create a subtle eye look or a daring, intense creation thanks to their easily buildable formulas (made up of at least 72% natural-origin ingredients), mixed textures and complementary shades – including one colourful surprise to add a touch of je ne sais quoi, Hermès style.

We all know that the skin around our eyes is thinner than anywhere else on our face, which means it’s the first place to show signs of ageing, stress and tiredness. Aka dark circles, fine lines and eye bags. No, thanks. So, if you’ve been skrimping on your eye care, it’s time to add a powerhouse peeper protector into your routine – just like this new super serum from skincare guru Dr. Barbara Sturm. Its highly concentrated and potent formula is packed with the likes of purslane, HA, red algae and glycerine to brighten, de-puff, support collagen and elastin production and soothe irritation and dryness. On the subject of eye care, patches are the perfect product if you’re after instant results and a chic beauty accessory to snap for Insta. Augustinus Bader’s are the best in the business and tackle every eye concern thanks to each hydrogel patch being saturated in niacinamide, HA, fermented polysaccharide and – of course – Bader’s exclusive healing and regenerating TFC8 complex. Simply pop them on, sink into the tub, make dinner or catch up on The Kardashians (guilty) and let them work their magic. My top tip? Put them in the fridge for a while first so they feel blissfully cooling and pack an extra depuffing punch.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Right, so you’re now armed with the best eye-brightening and boosting skincare, so it’s time to bag yourself a lash-sculpting mascara to frame those beautiful peepers and really make them pop. I’m loving the new Anastasia Beverly Hills wonder wand, which coats, lengthens and separates lashes in one fell swoop with no clumpiness or flakes. One coat is perfect for a full lash effect, but it’s easily buildable so you can up the drama factor for lashes that give falsies a run for their money. Because not all superheroes wear capes.
Dior
If I had a dirham for every time I was given a product that promised to turn back time, I’d be a very rich woman. And I’d definitely need quite a few (2,800 to be exact) to afford Dior’s new sculpting serum. But when I say it’s worth every penny, I mean it. With a smooth-as-silk formula and gorgeous subtle floral scent, it’s a dream to apply – especially knowing that its breakthrough formula is a first for the Maison and is backed by research from Dior’s Reverse Aging board (which features top dermatology, psychology and life science experts, obvs). The result?
