Everywhere she goes Bella Hadid turns heads.

But the supermodel had a particularly wow moment during her recent visit to Dubai – and she did it wearing an Arab designer.

Stepping out in Dubai’s culture district, Alserkal Avenue, Bella attended the exclusive launch party for Chopard’s Ice Cube collection, wearing a stunning vintage Elie Saab gown, further solidifying her status as a style icon.

Styled by Molly Dickson, the breathtaking gold-hued and sequin-covered gown was pulled from Elie Saab’s Fall 2004 Haute Couture collection, an ode to her roots and Dubai’s gold souks.

The dress was paired with jewellery from the new Chopard Ice Cube collection, with the Palestinian-Dutch model wearing a one-of-a-kind choker.

At the event, Bella and Caroline Scheufele, Chopard’s creative director, had a memorable moment with Dubai-based beauty mogul Huda Kattan. The trio posed for photos before Bella shared a warm hug with Huda.

Other distinguished guests at the event included Natasha Aris, The Hadban Twins, Cynthia Bakri, Rabih Rowel, Oscar Kraye and model Baran Ghiass.

The city buzzed when fans discovered Bella was in town, spotted making a surprise appearance at the opening of Chopard’s new flagship store in Dubai Mall

For the special occasion, Bella wore an ’80s Thierry Mugler outfit accessorised with Chopard jewellery, joining Caroline Scheufele to inaugurate the boutique with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. After the ceremony, they toured the new space, meeting with industry guests and clients.

It’s been a whirlwind few months for Bella, as she has been focusing on her fragrance brand, Oreballa, and building a life with her new boyfriend, Adan Banuelo.

However, in September, Bella was officially announced as the new face and global ambassador of the Swiss jewellery house, so it’s no surprise she came to Dubai to inaugurate the new boutique.

Her connection with Chopard is longstanding, whether it’s strutting the brand’s 10.03-carat pear-shaped diamond earrings at Cannes Film Festival or attending the maisons exclusive events in the Frech Riviera, Bella has proven herself to be a true ambassador for the Swiss watch and jewellery house.

And of course, Bella’s visit to the region comes as no surprise as he has always had a deep connection to the Middle East, proudly embracing her Palestinian heritage through her father, Mohamed Hadid, frequently speaking about her Arab roots.
