A mere two months after Bella Hadid was officially unveiled as the global ambassador for the Swiss jewellery house Chopard, the supermodel has had her first big moment with the Maison – and it took place right here in the Middle East.
Stepping out in Dubai, the Palestinian-Dutch beauty made an appearance at the new Chopard flagship in The Dubai Mall, inaugurating the space with the watch and jewellery house’s creative director Caroline Scheufele.
The pair, alongside other friends of the brand, took part in the ribbon cutting to mark the official opening of the new boutique.
But it was inside the new Chopard flagship where the 27-year-old had a heartwarming interaction with two young Emirati girls – or “two princesses” as Bella referred to the pair.
Spotted by the GRAZIA team at the Chopard boutique inauguration, Bella leant down to the heights of the girls to share some kind words with them both eventuating in a group hug after the sweet exchange.
“I just met two princesses,” Bella declared to the whole boutique upon her departure.

Bella Hadid is the newest face of Chopard
Back in September, Bella was unveiled as the new face of Chopard.
The move comes as a natural progression in the supermodel’s ongoing relationship with the Swiss jewellery house.

Seen on the red carpet many times sporting the brand, Bella’s love affair with its illustrious pieces has been a long-documented one. From the 12-carat Joaillerie drop earrings on the infamous Cannes Film Festival red stairs to even attending the brand’s exclusive event during her trip to the French Riveria, the Palestineian-Dutch supermodel has been a clear enthusiast of the legacy jewellery house’s adamant commitment to innovative grace.
Of her new appointment by the jewellery Maison, Bella said on Instagram back in Septmber, “Honoured to be the face and new global ambassador of Chopard! Thank you to the whole team, especially [Caroline Scheufele] – I love you.”
