Bella Hadid is showing us she’s firmly in her cowgirl era, if her latest public outing is anything to go by.

Serving both looks and skills whilst riding an 8ft horse, all the while being able to make it seem completely effortless, the supermodel has been seen out taking the reins (quite literally) of New York City alongside her beau, Adan Banuelos.

Just after New York Fashion Week wrapped, Bella and Adan were spotted with their horses, Canelo and Chapo, trotting through the streets of Manhattan to support Teton Ridge’s new documentary, Windows to the West: Horse Sense, which highlights Adan’s journey in the equestrian world.

While it’s a sight many won’t expect to see on a Thursday night, the pair were seen performing cutting demonstrations, an ode to Adan’s forte as a professional equestrian. Packed with gallops, roping, reigning, and even a high-end Western wear pop-up by Kemo Sabe, the couple embraced their cowboy-cowgirl aesthetic to its core.

But of course, Bella’s admiration for the sport and her boyfriend extends far beyond. Taking to Instagram she posted a message to celebrate the documentary and for Adan’s achievements. “Thank you for this crazy magical opportunity my love @ab_performancehorses I am so proud of you and all that you do,” she began. “I see you and how hard you work every day, and for you to be recognized in this way was so beautiful to watch.”

Naturally, Bella has fully embraced Western wear as part of her lifestyle. The same day they showcased cutting techniques, the couple stepped out in coordinated Western-inspired outfits.

The Palestinian-Dutch beauty’s ensemble featured a vintage Roberto Cavalli tan leather corset with a contrasting leopard-print neckline, paired with a low-rise denim midi skirt and vintage Dior cowboy boots. She completed the look with a tan leather shoulder bag and gunmetal-silver jewelry.

Meanwhile, Adan kept it classic in an embroidered button-up, relaxed denim, and his signature cowboy hat, belt, and boots.

Who is Bella Hadid’s boyfriend?

Adan Banuelos comes from a Mexican-American background and is an accomplished horseman. He is the son of acclaimed horserider Ascencion Banuelos, who was born in Mexico. He left home at the age of 13 to migrate to Texas and went on to become the first Mexican-American to be inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.

Following in the footsteps of his groundbreaking father, Adan has garnered a vast list of accolades and awards from the horse-riding industry.

Just like his father, he has also been inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Riders Hall of Fame in 2017. Three years later, in 2020, he won the NCHA Futurity Open Championship
