For its Ready-to-Wear 2021 collection, Azzi & Osta’s head designers, George Azzi and Assaad Osta, transported audiences through time to the late nineties – an era that shaped the dreams of the brand’s eponymous designers. The maison is paying homage to the duo’s early teenage years, bringing it back to their very first sketches, mood boards and their first purchase of chiffon after weeks of savings.

“We often find ourselves going back there, to those years where our minds were full of dreams and expectations,” reveals George Azzi.

The Lebanese Couture House reimagined the nineties grunge and glamour for a redefined, crisp and clean silhouette for the everyday modern women. There were playful textures, shades of lime, pink, bordeaux, navy and criss-cross detailing added to the mix, but even more interesting was how well the nineties grunge emblems paired with the house’s signature tweed and classic tailored designs.

Designer Assaad Osta reveals, “the collection pays tribute to the moment in time when we chose this path. The time when we discovered our purpose and started to dream big. It was a time full of endless inspiration, crazy ideas and sleepless summer nights – when we were too busy envisaging the future to sleep.”

The designers and their team continue to innovate their designs and showcase the power of creativity throughout each garment. When it came to their creative team for the campaign, the photoshoot took place in Los Angeles, where photographer Amanda Charchian took the ever-so-dreamy images and the looks were styled by style director, Dena Giannini.
