AlKhallat+ is a Saudi movie directed by Fahad Alammari that pays homage to the original AlKhallat digital series, which amassed over 1.5 billion views in its 22-episode run on different platforms.
The new movie is expected to launch on 19th January 2023 and will reintroduce everything fans love about the series, with an exciting comeback story of social deception and trickery in four unlikely places as the characters have to use all their cunning to find their way out of trouble. AlKhallat+ features an all-star Saudi cast led by Mohammed Aldokhei, Ibraheem Alkhairallah, Abdulaziz Alshehri, Ibrahem Al Hajjaj, Sohayb Godus, Fahad Albutairi, Ziyad Alamri, and Ismail Al Hassan.
The film is produced by Telfaz11, the same production company behind the original series. This movie marks a significant step forward for Saudi cinema, as it is the first-ever Saudi film to be produced and streamed on Netflix. Netflix celebrated the world premiere of AlKhallat+ at the Gala Theatre, Red Sea International Film Festival, with a full house with over 1000 attendees.
