Retail Abu Dhabi has been hosting one-of-a-kind beauty extravaganza Abu Dhabi Beauty Week in the capital and, in case you missed it, Grazia joined the festivities on Friday for the Fenty Beauty masterclass. Led by Senior Make-Up Artist and Education Manager for Kendo Brands Megan Newall, the masterclass showed us how to achieve Rihanna’s killer radiance in a few simple steps.
THE DREAM TEAM: FENTY BEAUTY’S MEGAN NEWALL AND HOST ROSEMIN MANJI
Hosted by Rosemin Manji on behalf of Grazia, the in-depth class saw Megan cover topics from colour correcting and skincare to make-up tips and tricks, and taught us how to use our Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products to perfect the “no make-up” make-up look Rihanna is known for (and that we’ve been trying for years to achieve).
Megan prepped the skin with Fenty Skin’s best-selling skincare range and used the Hydra Vizor Invisible Moistursier as a primer to ensure a glowing complexion. She then demonstrated how to colour correct – peach undertones are best for cancelling dark circles – before creating a flawless base using the new Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Powder Foundation and a combination of the sweat-resistant Cheeks Out Cream Blush and Bronzer.
MEGAN WORKING HER MAKE-UP MAGIC
To ensure the look was mask-proof and long-lasting, Megan used the Invisimatte Blotting Powder to rid the skin of excess oil before finishing with a dusting of Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder and a spritz of What It Dew Setting Spray.
