Saudi Arabia’s growing fashion scene has expanded to new pinnacles worthy of celebration.
With another key milestone in the Kingdom’s ever-changing fashion landscape, Saudi hosted the first-ever Fashion Awards on June 6, 2024, cementing the country’s position in the fashion world.
Presenting the grand event where creativity and innovation are the focal points of the Fashion Awards ceremony, is Chalhoub Group in partnership with the Saudi Fashion Commission.
Glimmering each step into new heights, the inaugural event where international and regional brands, talents and individuals are honoured for contributing to the culmination of shaping the Kingdom’s fashion landscape, was graced in a lavish ceremony at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.
The event hosted an array of highlights from celebrating a list of exceptional contributors and awarding their efforts to a star-studded red carpet, and the fine dining experience that elevated the sophistication of the evening, the Fashion Awards has truly set the benchmark for the Kingdom of Saudi.
While guests were in awe of the glamorous event, the Fashion Awards also displayed a myriad of rich cultural history to lay the groundwork for attendees to appreciate the Kingdom’s creativity and diversity in the region.
By recognising the significance of Saudi’s rich talent, the esteemed celebration plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration and driving new industry standards.
As said by Burak Çakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, “The launch of the inaugural Fashion Awards in Saudi Arabia is a key factor in creating an industry moment for the country.”
“Fashion awards are a way to recognise the highest achievers in each category,” he added. “Documenting all the key achievements in a fresh format, and start a tradition where designers and brands will look back and see how far they’ve come.”
