Copenhagen is becoming a fixed spot on the fashion map with its sustainable practices and Scandi-cool crowd – offering a fresh, new take on fashion weeks all together and continuously injecting sartorial inspo into our feeds.

And now, breaking away from last season’s phygital form, CPHFW presented AW21 collections solely digitally. The first on the fashion calendar, showing just before New York, London, Milan and Paris, fashion insiders flocked to the screens to see what a fully digital fashion week would look like. Spoiler alert: pretty darn good.

Here are four trends from the Danish capital that we can already see the regional fash pack set sporting come winter.

1. Green

No doubt – green is everywhere and it’s not just Bottega. Whether you opt for a daring lime shade or pistachio accents, zesty green will refresh your ensemble.

2. Vests

Oversized vests have been gaining momentum over the last few months, but Copenhagen introduced us to a bolder take that will definitely cement the vest mania for seasons to come. Go for bright colours, mega slogans, or loud prints and think about just how much you’ll adore having one during the summer months when we greet the freezing air-conditioned office once more.

3. Dresses over Trousers

A modest take, “drousers” will come renewed with minimal lines for a punchy look. Intricate details, or trousers that barely show underneath a maxi dress will do the trick.

4. Long-Sleeved Maxi Dresses

Perfect to wear while working from home or to a socially distanced dinner, long-sleeved maxi dresses come updated in loose-fitting silhouettes and luxe materials. Grazia‘s tip: go for creamy latte shades or super-long sleeves that drape slightly over your hands.
