Hermès is marking a new chapter in its beauty story – one that reflects the movement and significance of the iconic Hermès silk scarf.

Enter the Rouge Brillant Silky line by Hermès Beauty. Highlighting a new era in the Maison’s lip universe, these new lipsticks translate the fluidity and the luminous transparency of Hermès silk.

It’s a fitting celebration and launch as it also marks five years since the Maison made its foray into beauty. With this latest unveiling, which has been spearheaded by Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty, it not only marks half a decade of the heritage luxury house’s involvement in beauty, but weaves in an icon, the Hermès silk scarf, which is celebrated for its movement, softness and play of colour, into a different realm of Hermès.

Crafted with 85 per cent natural-origin ingredients, the formula of the Rouge Brillant Silky lipsticks combines a harmony of colour shine and care – almost silk in motion, if you will. Merging botanicals and brilliance, the formula nourishes and smooths the lips with its raspberry leaf extract, sesame seed extract and Abyssinian oil.

With a sheer, glossy luminosity, the application on the lips feels almost as fluid and supple as the Hermes silk scarf.

Not only does the collection of Rouge Brillant Silky lipsticks feel like the iconic Hermès silk, its colour palette of 14 luminous shades also references the Maison’s vast silk archives. Similarly to the Hermès scarves reveal pigment through movement and light, the lipstick shades mirror the same transparent yet saturated hues from vibrant coals to signature Hermès reds to more nude tones, each one adapts to the individual’s natural lip tone, making for a personalised lip journey for everyone.

All in all, just as the Hermès silk scarf transforms itself to each individual, so does the Rouge Brillant Silky transform to the radiance of the lips.
