Few backdrops in the world can rival the National Museum of Qatar, and on this particular evening, its desert-rose silhouette became the stage for one of the region’s most important nights in fashion.

For its seventh edition, the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize transformed the iconic NMoQ into a sweeping celebration of creativity, held in the presence of FTA Honorary Chair Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and hosted by FTA Co-Chairs Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Tania Fares.

The result was a night that felt both spectacular in scale and deeply intentional in purpose.

Hosted by Queen Latifah and Egyptian actor Aiman Kaissouni, the ceremony welcomed an all-star guest list that ranged from Emma Roberts, Regina Kin and Juliette Binoche to Lindsay Lohan, Lori Harvey, Mario Testino, Saint Levant and Elyanna.

A powerhouse performance by Chaka Khan elevated the atmosphere even further, while QC+ delivered a dinner worthy of the monumental setting.

Across categories, the 2025 winners highlighted the strength and range of rising designers. Youssef Drissi (Late for Work) took home the Ready-to-Wear Award, while Ziyad AlBuainain (Ziyad Buainain) won Eveningwear, which was also presented by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.

Leila Roukni (Talel) claimed Accessories and Farah Radwan (FYR Jewelry) took home the Jewellert Award, while Alaa Alaradi won the Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award, marking the first year of FTA’s strategic partnership with Kering.

The Fashion Tech Award went to Fatema & Dalal AlKhaja (Touchless), and Kartik Kumra (Kartik Research) earned the Guest Country Award – India.

While the evening was about up-and-coming designers, it also honoured two global visionaries. Iconic Italian designer Miuccia Prada, was the recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and Zuhair Murad, was honoured with the Trailblazer Award for his enduring influence and contribution to Arab couture.

With a jury featuring Amina Muaddi, Giambattista Valli, Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, Guram Gvasalia, and Charles Rosier, and an advisory board figures such as Anna Dello Russo, Clare Waight Keller, Gaia Repossi, Carmen Busquets, and Sofia Guellaty, the 2025 edition underscored Fashion Trust Arabia’s continued rise as a global benchmark for championing emerging talent.

All in all, it was a spectacular reminder of the region’s growing influence and a celebration of the designers shaping fashion’s next chapter.
