Located in Al Quoz, this roastery truly focuses on the art of coffee. A small and inviting space, where the aroma of coffee fills the room and your senses, this roastery and cafe places the art of making coffee at the forefront. Focusing on the craft of making a stellar cup of coffee, everything at this roastery is done by hand, included their own beans which are picked and packaged by hand. Truly a ‘coffee first’ philosophy, that has impressed many, and us as well. Extra tip: if you are in the mood to become a professional roaster yourself, take one of their roastery classes where you can become a trained professional barista or just an expert barista to impress yourself and your friends.
Heaf

A Dubai favorite for many, this is one of our go-tos. The name originates from the Emirati culture of the ‘test cup’, the host taste-tests the coffee before serving it to their guests, bridging local Emirati culture with Dubai’s international community. A waterfront spot located in Marsa Al Arab, making it a great spot to enjoy your cup of coffee in-house or taking it to-go for a stroll with views of the harbor on one side and Burj Al Arab on the other. As the cooler weather hits Dubai, Heaf is reopening their ‘Coffee on a Yacht’ experience every Wednesday and Thursday, for your favorite brew directly on the water.
koncrete

A personal favorite, Koncrete really has something for everyone. Functioning as a collective hub, this urban loft inspired space will satisfy your aesthetic Instagram feed and your taste buds. Tested coffee lovers who value good beans, are bound to enjoy their smooth espresso, while those with a sweeter tooth will love their ‘dirty caramello’ or ‘iced burnt honey latte’: the perfect blend between sweetness and a wake up boost. Don’t want to go alone but only have matcha drinking friends? No worries, Koncrete is also a master in their buttery ‘matcha latte’, both hot and on ice. Truly a space really that will leave everyone happy and caffeinated.
Southpour

Opening it’s doors in 2024, Southpour has quickly become a favorite, mirroring the cool vibes of east London. Their pink cups make it even more loved by the girls. Located in City Walk, their menu offers more than just coffee. They serve the best fresh juices, sandwiches and of course, specialty coffee; making it the perfect place to grab a quick lunch and post-meal coffee to help fight that afternoon slump. With both indoor and outdoor city, this is the place to visit as Dubai cools down.
The espresso lab

The Espresso Lab is the success story of Emirati entrepreneur and master barista Ibrahim Al Mallouhi,. He aimed to introduce a space in Dubai that feeds the heart and soul of the craft of coffee, and he did just that. With multiple locations in the UAE, the Espresso Lab has become a cult favorite offering beautiful minimalist and modern spaces that allow you to fully focus on the brew in front of you. A must try for everyone looking for a cup of coffee that not only tastes great but comes directly from organic beans sourced ethically and sustainably around the world.
Toby’s Estate

With five locations across Dubai, Toby’s Estate has left it’s mark on the local coffee scene. They are known for their special ‘Toby’s Milk’ which is sure to enhance any of their specialty drinks, whether its a cappuccino, iced latte or flat white. Not only does Toby’s make a stellar coffee, but their desserts are a must try. The perfect sweet treat to enhance your coffee drinking experience. Open in the morning until late at night, Toby’s Estate has got you covered anytime of the day, whether its a stop on your early morning walk, a space to work and sip, or a late night caffeine fix.

Rooted in Japanese inspired design, % ARABICA offers quality coffee from beans around the world. They have multiple locations scattered across the UAE, making it the perfect coffee destination in multiple Emirates. NIghtjar Coffee roasters

“Born in Dubai…exporting vibes” is Nightjar’s moto. Located in Alserkal avenue, Dubai’s brewing spot for culture and art, Nightjar fits right in with their artisanal philosophy. Top shelf vinyls fill the room and their signature ‘craft-on-draft’ has people queuing, including us. Nightjar makes art in form of coffee, but they are also the region’s leader in other elixirs: cold brew, iced tea and kombucha on top. A variety on offer that gives everyone the chance to enjoy their artistry.
