There doesn’t seem to be any sign of the Beckham-family-feud rumours slowing down. Perhaps this is why Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz have taken a page out of rumoured friends’ Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s book, and set up a defence. Both couples have been linked since Beckham and Peltz attended a dinner party hosted by the royals last month. This particularly sparked buzz as Brooklyn’s parents and the royals have been the subject of their own falling-out rumours.
Now, the younger couple have hired an attorney previously retained by Meghan and Harry themselves, Jenny Affia. The UK lawyer represented Markle in her case against the Daily Mail for privacy and copyright infringement. According to a Page Six source, Beckham and Peltz may be in similar waters.
“Sort of sad to see these desperate and unnecessary attempts to spread false rumours continue,” the source rued. “These lawyers were only hired to protect from the barrage of falsehoods and clarify truths.”

Brooklyn took to social media on May 27 to declare his love and loyalty to his wife. In an Instagram reel posted on Saturday, the pair were seen on a red motorcycle, with ‘National Anthem’ by Lana Del Rey playing over the clip, and a heartfelt caption to match.
“My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby❤️❤️.”
This declaration comes in the midst of continued reports of a falling out between the couple and his family, including parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham. Speculation of tension has followed the pair since their lavish nuptials in 2022. However, rumours have swelled once again over the past few months, particularly after the couple missed David’s 50th birthday celebrations in March.

The star-studded event saw the likes of Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, Guy Ritchie and many more in attendance, as well as David and Victoria’s other three children, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. At the time, People reported that while Brooklyn and Peltz were invited, it was unclear why they weren’t present.
“[David and Victoria] love and are always there for [Brooklyn],” divulged the source. “They’re just hurt and disappointed that now he’s playing no part in family life.”
Earlier this month, Victoria shared an image featuring all four of her children (and her own parents) on her Instagram Stories, with the caption “we both love you all so much.”

Brooklyn also recently mentioned his father in an interview with The Sunday Times in March of this year.
“It’s something that me and my dad bonded over,” he shared, regarding their appreciation of racing. “My dad’s had some pretty cool cars.”
Finally, the most recent indicator of sentiments comes from Cruz, who took to his own Instagram Stories hours after Brooklyn’s initial post this weekend to share an image of the family, including Brooklyn.
“I love my family,” Cruz wrote. “I love you guys more than anything, Mum & Dad, you gave us life and cared for us no matter what. I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives.”

As far as Nicola’s two cents, the actress has repeatedly shut down rumours of a rift with Victoria. “There’s no feud,” she told Cosmopolitan in 2024, calling tabloid talk “really weird” and praising her mother-in-law as “an incredible, successful woman.”
Based in LA, the couple remain geographically distanced from the UK-based Beckhams—but Brooklyn’s recent Instagram suggests love wins, and family ties still hold.
