Congratulations are in order across the Kingdom of Jordan as Her Royal Highness Princess Aisha bint Faisal has officially tied the knot with longtime friend, Kareem Al-Mufti.

The joyous news was shared by her older sister, Princess Ayah bint Faisal, who took to Instagram to post about the couple’s intimate nuptial ceremony, which took place on May 12, 2025, at the historic Zahran Palace in Amman.

Officially joining hands in marriage after a year of engagement, the royal wedding was held in the presence of the Jordanian royal family, including His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, as well as their Highnesses Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, Prine El Hassan bin Talal and Princess Muna Al Hussein.

The couple exchanged rings during the ceremony, with the bride, Princess Aisha, gracefully seen walking down the aisle with her father,  HRH Prince Faisal bin Hussein. The bride naturally looked radiant in a satin and lace floral gown while wearing a delicate diamond tiara, an heirloom piece once worn by her older sister in her wedding day too.

Expressing her heartfelt wishes on Instagram, Princess Ayah wrote, “It is with great joy that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to my beloved sister, HRH Princess Aisha bint Faisal, on the occasion of her marriage to Mr Kareem Al-Mufti.”

Adding her blessings to the newlyweds, she continued, “May God bless their union, unite them in harmony and grace, and grant them a life filled with love and enduring happiness.”

In an official statement released by the Royal Hashemite Court, the Kingdom and court extended their warm wishes, offering their blessings and prayers for a lifetime of happiness for the newlyweds.

The wedding follows a lavish traditional Jordanian engagement ceremony with the royal family, which took place during the summer of June 6, 2024.

Who is the Kareem Al-Mufti, the husband of Princess Aisha?

A longtime friend and now partner, Kareem Al Mufti  has always had close connections with the royal family.

Sharing deep ties, Kareem has been a friend and a colleague to the Crown Prince of Jordan, Prince Hussein. Both attended and studied at the King’s Academy, a private school in Jordan. They further pursued higher education at the same university in the United States of America, Georgetown University.

As for the bride, the Princess of Jordan is reputable for her academic prowess. She holds multiple degrees from the University of Westminster and earned a bachelor’s in Criminology and a Master of Laws in LLM, Religion Law and Society.
