For British actress Florence Pugh, Middle Eastern designers seem to be the pretty obvious choice for the red carpet.
Pugh, who plays the titular (and fan-favourite) character Yelena Belova in Marvel’s Thunderbolts, recently stunned at the film’s premiere in London, wearing none other than the highly acclaimed Lebanese couturier Elie Saab.
Over the last 11 years in the acting industry, she has been recognised for her fashion growth. And with each passing year, her fashion choices have become even more distinct. This time around, for the launch of her latest movie, she opted for a different kind of unapologetic elegance, which quickly turned into one of her many viral fashion moments.
For the premiere, where she joined fellow co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Harbour, she stepped out onto the neon carpet wearing Elie Saab’s AW 2024 couture collection, in a noir, see-through dress with a voluminous trailed tulle skirt.

The gown, which was first seen in Paris last year, featured a sheer design and was embroidered with a floral motif that cascaded from her torso to the hem.
Perfect for the glamorous actress who loves a little edge in her fashion, it also highlighted the Maison’s intricate beadwork and embroideries with what seems to be a horizontal boning beneath the lace fabric.
Her appearance at the premiere also quickly turned out to be one of her best beauty moments, too. To complete her look, she added a pop of neon orange eyeshadow with black eyeliner–a daring makeup move, albeit perfect for her. She rounded off her edgy energy with her blonde locks in a sleek style and accessorised with a pair of black and yellow gold jewellery.
Florence Pugh wore this Dubai-based brand

In what feels like a full-circle moment, the actress, around the same time last year, was also seen spotlighting an Arab-owned Dubai-based brand at the San Diego Comic-Con.
Adding a touch of Middle Eastern elegance to her outfit, she particularly wore the celebrity-approved jewellery brand, Maison H Jewels.
The specific standout piece? The Snake Skin Ring, crafted in white gold with meticulous attention to detail. The piece featured a unique, textured design reminiscent of serpent scales.
