His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has always had an eye for spotting the cream of the crop.

Whether it’s a new initiative for the people or highlighting an Arab creative in the region or beyond, he has always shown immense support for those with an innovative flair.

This time, it seems he has turned his eye to fashion, showing particular interest in the San Diego-based, Palesntinian-owned brand, PaliRoots.

Over the weekend, the Dubai Crown Prince – who recently welcomed his fourth child, a baby girl named Hind – took to his Instagram Stories to share a campaign project by the streetwear brand. The video featured a one-of-a-kind innovative jacket that transforms into a tent, highlighting the Palestinian keffiyeh.

The designer behind the tent jacket, Alex Fox, created this one-of-one look to support PaliRoot’s charity project.

The campaign highlights the brand’s commitment to the people of Palestine, where every dollar donated to their charity campaign would be given back in support. Earning a stamp of approval from HH Sheikh Hamdan, the brands’ co-founder, Aminah Musa, expressed her thanks on Instagram.

“I just want to give my gratitude and thank the Crown Prince of Dubai,” she said on the Instagram Story. “Thank you, HH Sheikh Hamdan, who recently shared our charity project on his page, which gained a lot of attention on the project and on what we’ve been doing. Thank you.”

Amidst the turbulent times the Gaza Strip has been facing, Sheikh Hamdan has shown his support for the people of Palestine. From sharing thoughtful prayers to informative videos on the on-going crises
