The outfit was new. The earrings were Tiffany & Co. And the perfume? That was a last-minute discovery, found at Yas Mall – tying the whole look together. Dressing for Eid this year wasn’t just about putting something nice on. It was about pieces that were thoughtfully curated for the occasion. And if you were anywhere near Abu Dhabi, you’ll know exactly what we mean.

Running from March 26 to April 6, the capital’s “Timeless Eid, Timeless Luxury” campaign is more of a reason to hit the stores. The shopping season brought exclusive capsule collections, heritage pieces reimagined, and a beautifully made animated film that captured the kind of generational artistry that goes into creating the pieces at participating luxury houses.

The campaign, led by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), leans into heritage. The animated video, which played across mall screens and socials media, traced a multi-generational journey through gifting and heirlooms, a big tradition during Eid.

Meanwhile, brands across the city were tapping into the festivities with limited-edition drops and fresh seasonal edits.

French-Moroccan label Casablanca debuted its Spring/Summer collection in the region with sportswear-inspired looks (the kind you’ll want to wear even after the long weekend). Louis Vuitton launched LV Mirage, a limited capsule designed especially for the season. Over at Tiffany & Co., the bold lines of the HardWear collection were made for gifting—but honestly, also for keeping.

No Eid look is complete without perfume – and this year, it was all about fragrances with a story. French house Henry Jacques honoured Sheikh Zayed’s passion for perfumery with three special blends – Rêve d’Or, Rose Sultan, and Majesté now available at Les Exclusifs.

LOEWE Perfumes gave us embroidered pouches with Eid Mubarak messages, and Vacheron Constantin made a very strong case for the ultimate timepiece with its Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication. Featuring a celestial map of the local sky, the piece is dedicated to Abu Dhabi.

Eid might be over, but Abu Dhabi is continuing to bring exclusive shopping experiences to the city. And really, isn’t that what the best kind of retail therapy should feel like?
