Pakistani actress Neelam Muneer has garnered widespread attention following the recent release of photos from her wedding, which took place in Dubai and Karachi earlier this month.
Neelam, one of Pakistan’s biggest female stars, is well-known for her roles in television dramas and films, boasting a massive fanbase both online and offline.
She gained widespread recognition for portraying the role of Ulfat in the popular TV series Dil Mom Ka Diya, which earned her a nomination for Best TV Actress at the 18th Lux Style Awards.
In photos shared on her Instagram earlier in January, Neelam can be seen wearing a traditional Pakistani red bridal outfit by Pakistani label Hasseens for her wedding night.
Styled by Kiran Raza, her outfit featured a long shirt with intricate gold embroidery, paired with a beautiful lehenga. She draped a dupatta over her head and accessorised with silver, gold, and red jewellery. Meanwhile, her husband wore a white sherwani with embroidered details on the collar and sleeves.
When Neelam first shared the news of her wedding earlier this week, along with photos from her intimate Mayoun ceremony in Karachi, speculation arose about the identity of her groom.
However, the actress kept fans guessing, sharing only images of herself dressed in a long yellow frock paired with a traditional gharara adorned with starry details and floral embroidery. She completed the look with wrist garlands, a must-have accessory for any bride in Pakistan, as well as floral earrings and a teeka.
A day later, Neelam posted a series of pictures on Instagram showing her with her husband, who was dressed in a traditional Arabic jubbah. The images quickly went viral, though she chose not to reveal his name or provide any additional details.
With a massive Instagram following of 7.7 million and millions of admirers, fans were eager to learn more about her husband, with latest reports have sharing his name is Muhammad Rashid and that he works with the CID department of Dubai Police.
