In this edition of GRAZIA’s best dressed, we delve into the most creative minds gracing Sole DXB over the weekend.

Like every year, an unapologetic display of finesse made its way to Dubai Design District. Particular nods to street style, maximalism and being in-tuned with the “vibes” were all the rage.

And these select few have made sure to stand out from the crowd with their impeccable taste.

From thrifted edgy looks paying homage to Hip-hop culture to literal fusions of different fashion cores, GRAZIA shares with you the Dubai fashion girls that epitomised the word cool.

Salima alaOui

You can always expect this Best Dressed veteran to deliver and serve only the coolest forms of layering. Salima, a modest fashion influencer, made sure to style her elevated Sandro blazer to new structures. Playing with form and colour, Salima paired her noir blazer with an oversized and volumised a-line skirt, a trend that seems to be on par with the season’s must-style cues. All the while accessorising with metallic bangles which balanced out the glossy Coach bag, she added an elevated contrast with bright red colourways.

Oumayma Elboumeshouli

Oumayma always brings an interplay between edgy and modern to her ‘fits. While the aesthetics are kept chic with the Adidas three-stripe sports blazer, with a contrasting volumised skirt on the bottom. But the main attention-stealer? The Clot x Adidas Superstar – the brand’s take on the classic Adidas silhouette turned formal-cool with oxford heels.

Reema

If you’ve been scrolling long enough on TikTok, style gurus have officially crowned ballet flats a Gen Z queen’s must-have. Paired with 2000s-inspired black leggings and an off-white shirt to add dimension to the waist, Reema gave her style an extra oomph with a tube top and oversized double-breasted blazer. For accessories, she made sure to use not just one Coach bag but two to make things extra.

Huda Shahin

For Huda Shahin, streetwear and maximalism are epitomised in the form of layered skirts. Sandwiching a side-slitted tartan skirt with a black and white plaid skirt to top it and a touch of crinkled and ruched faux leather skirt for texture (because who said two skirts are enough). Keeping her top demure and free of the noise, she sported a silky pleated turtle neck with a beige shoulder bag.

Roua Mohamed

Clad in a burgundy leather coat with slitted sleeves, Roua makes sure the ensemble sticks out even more with her floral lace leggings and scarlet pointed pumps. But it seems, despite the winter attire, she still wanted to ring in the chimes of summer with a trusty leopard print headscarf and blinged in all kinds of gold and pearls across her jewellery.

Sally Javadi

Dripped is an understatement when it comes to Dubai-based influencer Sally. Blending signature luxury pieces and emulating street style can be quite difficult, but proving many wrong, Sally ensured she paired the right pieces in cohesion. Wearing a Ganni navy blue jacquard bomber jacket, she kept it classic with a white top and a pair of Off-White Matera shades. To add contrast to the casual ‘fit, she wore a pleated midi camo skirt with a vibrant glimpse through her Loewe raffia tote bag and Nike Air Max Jordans.
