The 8th edition of the DIAFA (Distinctive International Arab Festivals Awards) has firmly marked itself as one of Dubai’s most stand-out events of the season – and there’s a reason why.
Last night, the awards ceremony brought together regional trailblazers of the Middle East and honoured the presence of icons across the entertainment industry.
Held at the Plaza Terrace of Jumeirah Emirates Towers, the event started on November 26, 2024, highlighting the experiences of veterans such as Palestinian film director, Basil Alkhatib, Syrian actress Maram Ali, Tunisian singer Latifa, and other notable stars.
Closing the event on November 27, 2024, the highly anticipated event was, needless to say, a star-studded event glammed in the most prestigious form.
Household names including Sulafa Memar, Narin, Tina Yamout, Faouzia, and Ameni Essebi, among many other personalities donned the red carpet in their most crème de la crème outfits.

Syrian actress Sulafa Memar stunned in a forest green off-shoulder dress and accessorised with Lebanese jewellery brand Mouwad.
