Taking over the fashion world with his haute couture precision is no feat for Lebanese fashion designer, Elie Saab.
From reaching the heights of global fashion dressing stars and icons alike, Elie Saab has taken the route back to the Middle East to celebrate an incredible 45 years in the industry.
With his usual gusto and enchanting craftsmanship, he hosted an immersive fashion show titled The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab at Riyadh Seasons’ newest roster of immersive experiences, The Venue – and immersive it was.
Elie Saab has always been known to design extravagant and opulent shows, but in an ode to celebrate the brand’s Sapphire year, he traced back to his Middle Eastern roots to showcase an unapologetic display of pure craftmanship and showmanship.
Designing an exclusive collection which featured 300 looks for The Riyadh Season Collection Fall 2025, Elie Saab took inspiration from the Arab region’s prominent folktales, One Thousand and One Nights, where he blends storytelling, heritage and modern design in one lens.
Promising to elevate the Kingdom’s position as a world-class fashion capital, Elie Saab showed true skill in not only designing memorable looks but in putting together a show unlike any other.
Unforgettable is an understatement for the performance-led fashion show. Elie Saab brought together a roster of show-stopping pop stars from global and regional icons such as Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Camila Cabello, Amr Diab and Nancy Ajram – the show truly started and ended with a flair unmatched in the Middle East.
There’s no exception for the runway and the FROW who were just as starry as the event. Like the icon that she is, Halle Berry, who attended the show, glammed the catwalk with her signature Elie Saab look from the 2002 Academy Awards to the runway. Walking the same platform was a highlight like no other, supermodels Adriana Lima, Sara Sampaio, Isabeli Fontana, Candice Swanepoel and others also shined just as bright.
Just before the grand finale where looks emphasised a dazzling display of metallic, sheer fabrics and shimmery embroidery, the global sensation, Celine Dion, marked her appearance with a striking Elie Saab couture dress wrapped in his signature codes.
Making this her official third public appearance, Dion performed her iconic remake from 1993, The Power Of Love, which was the perfect symphony that accompanied the ultra-feminine looks for the closing.
