It’s clear that Her Royal Highness Princess Salma of Jordan is never afraid to make a statement.
And it goes without saying that her attendance at the Silver Jubilee over the weekend was no different.
The royal, who was seen with her family to mark the 25-year reign of her father King Abdullah II, wore a bespoke dress by Dubai-based label and Palestinian designer REEMAMI.
Style is always in favour with the women of the royal family. From the couture dress for Queen Rania to the trailing red dress that Princess Rajwa wore, and now to Princess Salma’s emerald dress that’s simply impeccable, the Jordanian royals understand their style duties to perfection.

With just six weeks in the making—from concept and sketches to creation—REEMAMI turned Princess Salma’s dress into reality. Designed with elements paying homage to Jordanian culture and heritage and considering the princess’ royal background, REEMAMI wove each thread of her life story into the fabric.
From the floral motifs resembling petunias, Jordan’s national flower the black iris, and a sparkling red coronaria, Princess Salma paid homage to her father and her country in the perfect way through fashion.
The rich colour of the dress takes inspiration from her military uniform, a nod to Princess Salma being the first Jordanian woman to be honoured as a military pilot. The Jordanian wildflowers, featured in prints and cross-stitched into the dress, reflect the Princess’s resilience, strength, uniqueness, and undying passion for the kingdom—an ensemble in which the royal princess effortlessly gleams with beauty.
“It was an extraordinary honour for me as a designer,” said Reema Al Banna, founder of REEMAMI, “especially to contribute to this exceptional project for Princess Salma on such a historic day.”
Complementing the overall colour scheme, Princess Salma paired her dress with diamond earrings featuring emerald green stones and a matching chrome-plated necklace with the same precious gems.
