The pre-wedding festivities are continuing for Anant Ambani and his bride-to-be Radhika Merchant.
Following their star-studded affair in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, which included a performance from Rihanna herself, the Ambani family have now headed to Europe for another round of celebrations, this time in the form of a pre-wedding cruise.
Setting sail from Portofino, Italy to Cannes in the South of France, the celebrations for Anant and Radhika were nothing short of spectacular. As you’d expect from Mukesh Ambani, the father of the groom, who is one of India’s most prominent businessman with a net worth of over $113.7 billion, no expense was spared.
Aboard the Cruise Ascent, the 1,073-foot ship hosted performances by Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, and even Pitbull, who performed with Guru Randhawa. The four-day gala featured an impressive setlist, creating an unforgettable experience for all 800 attendees.

Throughout the four-day event, the Ambani’s celebrated their youngest heir and his fiancé over a plethora of lavish activities. From dining at the most exquisite restaurants, to stopping over the most wanderlust destinations.
But these performances truly stole the spotlight. And one of that being Katy Perry performing her “Roar” and “Firework” set list while the Ambani Cruise was anchored in Cannes. All the while, the five-member group Backstreet Boys delighting guests with their iconic hits “I Want It That Way” and “Everybody”, to which the audience sang along enthusiastically.
Titled “La Vite E Un Viaggio” (Life is a Journey), the European cruise tour by Anant and Radhika was a once-in-a-lifetime getaway for the elite couple and its attendees. The guest list included notable A-listers such as Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan, Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, and many others.
And while the attendees enjoyed their stay in Portofino, dining during the day and exploring the Italian market– the Ambanis didn’t stop there; they rented out the entire seaport of Portofino for a private performance by legendary tenor singer Andrea Bocelli, who serenaded the couple and over 1,200 spectators with Elvis Presley’s iconic song “Can’t Help Falling In Love”.
When will Anant and Radhika tie the knot?
The couple are set to officially marry on July 12, 2024, at the Jilo World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
While details remain under wraps, we can anticipate yet another grand surprise for their matrimony as the wedding will last for another three days.
As the Ambanis are known to create lavish events for their family, we can expect more pleasant news the next few weeks before their big day.
