Congratulations are in order for Millie Bobby Brown as the 20-year-old actress reportedly wed her model and ‘nepo baby’ husband, Jake Bongiovi, at a “low key” service in the United States. As per multiple sources, the Stranger Things lead exchanged vows with the 22-year-old model at a civil ceremony in front of their “closet family”, including Bongiovi’s father, legendary rockstar Jon Bon Jovi.
Brown and her new husband have reportedly made plans to celebrate their nuptials with a larger wedding in Italy later this year. As we’ve seen with the recent nuptials of Sofia Richie Griange and Kourtney Kardashian Barker, marrying abroad has prompted the resurgence of double weddings. Though no details have emerged about where they tied the knot, a source confirmed that the pair are indeed legally married and have filed all official paperwork ahead of their bigger ‘big day’.
First glimpses of the newlyweds emerged hours after the news of their wedding broke. The couple were seen driving around The Hamptons—unfortunately, they skipped visiting the freshly opened The Row boutique in Amagansett—in a blue convertible and flashing their wedding bands to unlooking paparazzi. As the adage goes, something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue.
Bongiovi proposed to the Enola Holmes star in April 2023 with a cushion-cut diamond on a pavé band. At the time of announcing their engagement, Brown shared a sweet black-and-white photo of themselves immediately after she said ‘yes’. Taken while on a tropical vacation, Brown accompanied the post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover”, writing: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍”
