Founded a year ago by Rie from Japan, she offers traditional grade matcha and holds tea-making workshops in Dubai. Megumi is entirely run by women, from the packaging to the farm in Kyoto. Megumi holds a monthly matcha session at Vanilla Sukkar, a Jumeirah gem run by a mother-and-daughter team. Attendees can learn the A-Z of matcha, tea making and even try matcha sweet treats.

Though their soft serve ice cream may be their speciality, Oath also makes a fantastic matcha. On Al Wasl Road, this Jumeirah cafe is nestled inside a flower shop. You can sip a matcha or their famous creamy float. That’s not all. They even sell their own matcha powder and offer a variety of desserts. Open Sunday to Saturday from 10am-9pm, Fridays 4pm-10pm.
