Alia Bhatt has been appointed as the first Indian global ambassador for Gucci, marking a significant milestone for her. Her initial duty in this new role will be to attend the Gucci Cruise 2024 fashion show in Seoul on May 16, 2023.
After a highly successful 2022, 2023 is all about expanding Alia’s global recognition. Her schedule has been packed with high-profile events, including her debut at the Met Gala in May and now being appointed as the new face of Gucci.
Alia’s Hollywood debut in the spy thriller Heart of Stone, alongside Jamie Dornan, is set to release in August 2023, adding another feather to her cap.
Gucci took to Instagram to post a photo of the actress to announce the news, writing “Alia Bhatt is the House’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. To mark the occasion, the actress, producer, and entrepreneur was captured with the Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag. #AliaBhatt #GucciBamboo1947″
Alia now joins other household names of Gucci’s celebrity family, including Dakota Johnson, Xiao Zhan, Harry Styles, Julia Garner, Halle Bailey, Chris Lee, A$AP Rocky, Ni Ni, Siger Hanni and of course, Jared Leto.
