The new moon (1 February AEST; 31 January GMT) gets a blast from Uranus, highlighting the themes that defined 2021. It’s a time to make commitments to about what you’re going to do to make this year, different. With Mercury and Pluto hanging out, tough conversations may be on the cards (especially around the 1st and the 12th). Don’t let fear get the better of you, say what needs to be said, you’ll feel so much better for it.
With Venus and Mercury retrogrades done (Mercury from 4 February AEST;) integrating all those moments of insight should be top of your to-do list. Venus and Pluto have been pushing you to rethink what you care about since 19 December. This month it’s time to put your thoughts into action. How has your relationship to money, love and values evolved? What do you want long-term and how are you going to go after it?
Meanwhile Mercury will also be tying up loose ends (until 24 February). If you ran into delays, mistakes or miscommunications last month, the first few weeks of Feb are a time to come to a resolution. It’s a lot, but with Venus and Mars rolling up their sleeves and working together all February, “doing the work” should feel slightly less intimidating.

Meanwhile, with your ruling planet on the move, inspiration to transform your life – whether it’s a dramatic haircut or booking a big OS trip – will be coming in hot.
GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING
If you’ve been holding fire on a big cash decision – especially anything involving other people – you should feel a whole lot more confident to move forward this month. With Venus and Mars supercharging joint finances it’s a good time to start making a start on your long-term goals. You’ll get one last pass at a problem or “discussion” (read: disagreement) before you’re in the clear by the 24th. Hang in there, it may not be fast but it is worth the perseverance.

LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING
While Aquarius season shines a light on your creative outlets, the big developments this month are happening at home. Weeks of careful consideration around a big issue involving family and/or where you’re living will finally come to fruition. This has been a long time coming, so be brave and stand your ground.
SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING
As the sun finishes its tour through Aquarius (until 19 February AEST; 18 February GMT), there’ll be a focus on home and family life this month, especially once Mercury retraces its steps through your domestic sphere (from 14 February onwards). Mishaps and misunderstandings should smooth over after some initial discord. Stay grounded but don’t be surprised if your point of view isn’t received exactly as you expected.

AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING
There’s intrigue on the horizon with the new moon (1 February) bringing surprises and drama. Big Capricorn energy will continue to pull you inward, and you may be yearning to withdraw from it all. Hang in there, brighter days are coming.
