Emily In Paris star Lily Collins took to social media today with a series of wedding photos from her recent Colorado wedding. On September 4, the actress tied the knot with writer and director Charlie McDowell in a dreamy outdoor ceremony.
The actress wore a long sleeve, high neck lace wedding gown by Ralph Lauren and was styled by Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi. It featured a small train and sheer lace hooded cape. The whimsical setting is reminiscent to her own appearance in the 2012 film, Mirror Mirror – if we do say so ourselves. Photography was captured by Cedar & Pines.
“What started as a fairytale, is now my forever reality,” she added in another post. “I’ll never be able to properly describe how otherworldly this past weekend was, but magical is a pretty good place to start…”
On September 25 2020, Collins revealed her engagement to McDowell. In what she described as her “favourite accessory”, the ring is believed to feature a 3-carat cushion-shaped, rose-cut, centre stone on a flared, yellow-gold, textured bezel. The diamond is reported to have cost between $75,000 and $100,000.
In July 2019 the loved-up pair sparked dating rumours after they were captured in a PDA moment by Metro UK.
“It was kind of one of those situations where I knew the second that I met him that I wanted to be his wife one day and so it was just a matter of when, really,” Collins revealed in a later interview.
They went ‘Instagram official’ a month later in August 2019 and embarked on their first public appearance (to a Lakers’ basketball game) in January 2020.
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
