The Hills alum Whitney Port says she and husband saw Jennifer Lopez “set up a paparazzi shot” in a faux candid photo shoot in the Hamptons. Speaking to her beau, television producer Tim Rosenman, on her Whit Whit podcast, the 39-year-old former reality star says “J.Lo, the other day, was riding her bike to get a scoop of ice cream for a paparazzi shot.”
Rosenman, 42,–who was also reportedly present at the ice cream store, Candy Kitchen, when Jennifer Lopez rode past– says the singer and actor didn’t even go into the ice cream store and was “just there for the exterior shot.” You can see the pictures here.
The couple agreed with one another that if they had Lopez’s money, they would step away from the spotlight a little, and conceded the singer must be “addicted to attention.”
“[Lopez] is already as famous as you can be. Why does she need to stoke the flames of her own fame? Seems unnecessary,” Port says to Rosenman in the podcast’s episode. “That’s her vibe. She’s papped everywhere. Her continually looking hot in cute settings is what keeps the machine going.”
“[But] Why does she feel the need to keep the machine going?” Rosenman interjected before speculating that “maybe she likes … extra f–king attention.”
Lopez has recently been photographed without her sizeable wedding ring amid strong speculation she and husband Ben Affleck, 51, are headed for divorce. The couple were initially engaged for two years in 2002 before ending the relationship. In 2021, they got back together and were engaged and married a year later.
