The last day of London fashion week delivered beauty inspiration in spades — most notably at the Old Selfridge’s Hotel at Supriya Lele’s FW 2022 runway show.

The British-Indian designer is fashion’s wunderkind right now — you can hardly scroll through Instagram without double-tapping on one of her skin-baring designs. From cut-out tops and low-rise pants to slinky draped mini skirts, the sexy-chic aesthetic feel very of the minute; party clothes that work in a post-pandemic world.

But moving on to beauty! Directed by Fara Homidi, the look was described as, “an après ski inspired bronzed eye paired with a powder blue lower lash. Finished with a juicy honey gold & glossed lip.” Unlikely, yes — but the pairing of perfectly raw skin, gilt eyes, lacquered lips and a chalky blue lash was superb.

Hair was also worth drooling over. There wasn’t really a concrete style, but rather each model wore their strands loose, natural and undone. Think soft waves, fluffy curls, chic buzz cuts and sleek ends. While nonchalant and relatable, each look was still glossy and cool — the perfect way to compliment a soon-to-be cult collection.
