Italian supermodel Vittoria Ceretti might have to declare a new piece of jewellery the next time she sets off to walk the international fashion circuit. Yesterday in Los Angeles, the 25-year-old was spotted grabbing a bite to eat at a local Mexican restaurant near Los Felix with her boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio. (The pair began dating “exclusively” in November last year.)
But it wasn’t the photos of DiCaprio feeding Ceretti a burrito à la Jake Gyllenhaal watching Kristen Dunst eat a salad that piqued our interest. Rather, it was the diamond ring of titanic proportions Ceretti wore on her engagement ring finger. (See the pictures here!)
The piece of jewellery in question was a dome-shaped band made from either white gold or silver speckled with diamonds in a pavé setting. The current Chanel Beauty muse kept the remainder of her look casual to fit with the setting, wearing Balenciaga Sunglasses, denim jeans and a distressed ribbed Diesel cardigan.
DiCaprio stayed true to his off-set uniform in a black cap, white t-shirt, cargo shorts and running shoes. Ceretti and DiCaprio were first seen together in Santa Barbara in August 2023 when the pair picked up ice cream and iced lattes. The platonic relationship took a romantic turn when they were seen making out on the dance floor of a club in Ibiza. (You can take the man out of his bachelor era, but you can’t take the bachelor out of the man.)
Representatives for either party haven’t confirmed the rumours, but it’s likely the next update we’ll receive about the supposed “nuptials” will come from a blurry pap shot of the pair scouting locations on the Côte d’Azur. (With both Ceretti and DiCaprio mainstays at the Cannes Film Festival, we’ll likely know a little more about the situation come May.)
Ceretti was previously married to an Italian DJ, though the couple divorced in the months leading up to her meeting DiCaprio. If her Baleriac island wedding is anything to go by, the next time Ceretti walks down the aisle will be fodder for bridal mood boards everywhere.
