Following on from last week’s mighty plunging Givenchy suit (and the Bieber hoo-ha that swiftly ensued), Selena Gomez is back to her attention-grabbing best with some seriously good outfits.
After dropping two new singles last week, ‘Look At Her Now’ and ‘Lose You To Love Me’, the pop singer and actress is now on the promotional tour for her new film, The Dead Don’t Die, co-starring cinema heavyweight Bill Murray (while simultaneously promoting her music – great publicity 101). Attending multiple events in New York City, Gomez has cut not one – but four striking figures in four completely different looks.

She kicked things off with a ladylike lean; prancing through Midtown in a simple black high-neck top by Leset which she paired with a striped paper-bag skirt by Miu Miu. A fancy Fendi heel replete with perspex panelling and shiny silver croc top-handle tote added a hint of glint to an otherwise classic outfit.

Then there was the gloriously sheeny crushed velvet teal suit by Sies Marjan. Arriving at the “Elvis Duran And The Z100 Morning Show“, Gomez offered a perky pop of brilliant blue in the relaxed velvet suit with contrast racer stripe, making a serious case for all-out pop colour.

She then slipped into something more comfortable (or sexy), stepping out in Tribeca in a burgundy and beige zebra print midi dress by Ganni with sweetheart neckline, which she paired with thigh high slouchy suede boots in black and ecru Celine bag.

And lastly, Gomez suited up in a grey checked pant and double-breasted blazer by Frame, with a little peep of black underneath (unlike her bra-less moment with the Givenchy suit last week). A statement pointed mule by Proenza Schouler added a twist to the classic tailoring, which featured an interesting twisted upper and striking mirror block heel.
