Anthony Vaccarello debuted his Saint Laurent Fall-Winter 2021 collection this morning with a star-studded (virtual) front row. YSL muses Zoë Kravitz, Anja Rubrik, Hailey Bieber, Rosé, Abbey Lee, Talia Ryder, Indya Moore, and Charlotte Gainsbourg all tuned in for the highly anticipated livestream wearing pieces from the just-released collection. Better yet, they all had at-home photoshoots ahead of the digital presentation, and they have since been shared on social media: the modern-day front row.
Not sure about you, but I’m delighted that this is one small step closer to the return of the famed front row at real-life fashion shows. How the front row will look in the future remains unclear; however, seeing celebrities get dolled up at home for the virtual version is exciting, all considering the current state of the world. Ahead, see what each star wore to celebrate the Saint Laurent FW21 collection debut.
HAILEY BIEBER
She may not have walked the show this year, but Bieber is pulling off her best rocker chic in the front row, pairing an open fur jacket with a striking pink metallic miniskirt and choker necklace combo draping down her torso.
ROSÉ
As one of the newest faces of Saint Laurent, Rosé perfectly embodies the classic bourgeois style with a modern flair.
ABBEY LEE
The Australian actress channeled her inner rocker chick in a metallic bodysuit and matching mini skirt and blazer look complete with chain and faux fur meticulous detailing.
ANJA RUBIK
Rubik naturally evokes 80s flair with colour-blocking hues of green, blue, and warm red. It paired perfectly with the metallic mini skirt, a distinctive signature of the new collection.
ZOË KRAVITZ
As one of Saint Laurent’s long-time muses, Kravitz paired a classic chic black and white tailored ensemble with pointy metal-tipped heels.
TALIA RYDER
If a mullet were an outfit, it would be precisely Ryder at the Saint Laurent show. She’s all business on the top in a 60s vibe sweater vest combo and statement flower motif choker. Then lively party on the bottom with a metallic mini skirt and extremely pointy metal-tipped heels.
CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG
With an apparent affinity for Saint Laurent and recently starring in a sensual Saint Laurent film earlier this month, Charlotte Gainsbourg let out her inner rock star. In her glitzy sequin-cropped top and straight-leg denim, the actress was altogether in her element.
