Daniel Lee’s first collection for Bottega Veneta saw even the most phlegmatic fashionista go to extreme (and frankly, absurd) lengths to nab a pair of the brand’s prized square-toe mules or perfectly puffy leather pouches. Four seasons on, and we’re still in the same fashion conundrum, Lee’s Pre-Fall 2020 causing a similar hysteria as that first groundbreaking collection, with fans worldwide desperately adding their names to waitlists and the like.

One such fan (who likely doesn’t need a waitlist) is Rihanna. Attending Beyoncé and Jay Z’s Roc Nation Brunch in Los Angeles, the singer wore a tonal lime look from the brand’s forthcoming Pre-Fall collection, the Ginger Dress and the Limestone Parka.

Gloriously ruched down the centre and flecked with sequins, the draped midi dress was originally styled with the waxy anorak, plus a lofty, wintery take on Bottega Veneta’s now iconic square-toe.

But of course, Rihanna put her bad gal spin on the look by adding layers of chunky diamond bracelets and sparkly stacked sandals. Whichever way you style it, one thing’s for certain – we’re all on the Bottega bandwagon together.
