It’s startling to think that in Australia, one in seven women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lives; mothers, daughters, sisters, friends. Make no mistake, the women in this county are a valiant force and progress has been made, but there is still a long way to go. This year, revered Australian designer and purveyor of occasion-wear Rachel Gilbert has partnered with the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds for the disease’s treatment and research.

For the month of October, Rachel Gilbert boutiques and online stores will be selling two exclusive tops—one white cotton tee, and one long-sleeve black mesh top—and 100 percent of their profits will be donated to the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation. Featuring hand-placed, beaded embellishment at the bust, the tops are the most stylish offerings we’ve seen—just one more reason to purchase one for yourself or as a gift to a loved one.

“We are privileged to be able to use our platform to be able contribute to the incredible work that Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation are doing,” says Gilbert. “It’s a cause that sadly affects so many Australians and we are grateful to have been able to connect with so many individuals who have been on their own journey with Breast Cancer and are willing to share their story, or contribute significantly to treatment and finding a cure.”

In addition, throughout the month of October, Rachel Gilbert will donate $2.00 from every online purchase to the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation via i=change.

If you’re after a simple tee or top to go with jeans or a skirt, please consider one of Rachel Gilbert’s. Not only will you have it for years, you’ll be helping a woman just like you.
