KING’S LYNN, ENGLAND – DECEMBER 25: (L-R) Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex arrive to attend Christmas Day Church service at Church of St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate on December 25, 2018 in King’s Lynn, England.

Yesterday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary. The notoriously private couple, who almost never show any PDA (unlike their crazy in love counterparts Prince Harry and Meghan Markle), surprised the public by releasing not only two royal portraits taken together, but a much more candid home video

All three posts garnered millions of likes and hundreds of thousands of comments from royal fans, congratulating the couple on their 10-year anniversary—they famously wed on April 29th 2011 at Westminster Abbey.

But amid the well-wishers, many were wondering whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would publicly send their love to the couple, following their recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, which reportedly ruffled a lot of feathers in the palace—Markle revealed Middleton had made her cry ahead of her royal wedding, and both she and Prince Harry spoke of racist conversations made had by senior members of the family of the birth of their son, Archie Harrison. Harry also admitted that he and his brother were giving each other “space.”

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex has confirmed that the couple privately congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their marital milestone, but didn’t go into detail about whether the communication came via a phone call, video call, or written note.

Of course, recently, Prince Harry briefly flew back to the UK and reunited with his brother and family in London earlier this month at the funeral for his grandfather Prince Philip.

Following the service, Prince Harry was seen walking and chatting with Prince William and Middleton and there were reports the brothers had a long private conversation.

Though Markle, who is in the late stages of pregnancy with her and Prince Harry’s second child, was advised not to attend the ceremony, she sent a note and a sentimental wreath which was displayed at the funeral.
