To celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary—they married on April 29th, 2011 at Westminster Abbey—Prince William and Kate Middleton released two new portraits together taken earlier this week, before later releasing a video showing their family of five playing at the beach and making toasted marshmallows.
In the original portraits, the pair wore coordinated blue outfits (a long-sleeved floral blue dress from Ghost London for Middleton), with the mother-of-three showing off her sapphire engagement ring, once owned by the late Princess Diana.
In celebration of the couple’s wedding anniversary—from university sweethearts to future king and queen of England—here, the five cutest moments captured of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
In August 2012, one year after their wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton got so excited during Day 6 of the London Olympic Games, they totally forgot cameras were around. The result is one of the most candid photos of them to date.
Months after their royal wedding, the newlyweds went on their first official holiday as a married couple to Canada in July 2011. This photo is one of the rare times they just look like any other normal pair of young and in love people.
The couple went on a skiing holiday to the French Alps in March 2016, and were photographed having a snow fight.
In a rare moment of public affection with her husband, Kate Middleton wiped something off Prince William’s face as they attended day 13 of Wimbledon, July 2017.
And, of course, the balcony moment that made the world swoon. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kiss on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to a crowd of thousands and millions watching on around the world. Tag yourself, we’re the flower girl.
