Prada Spring/Summer 2024 show.

Miuccia Prada has steered the fashion zeitgeist over the last few years. Always providing ripe material for copycats and filtered-down influences, the design duo of Prada and Raf Simons continue to hit a sartorial sweet spot, both speaking to the times and demands of women and inspiring new insights for the seasons to come. Naturally, this means we have a vested interest in what they do next. And with Milan Fashion Week in full swing, the brand’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection unveiling is almost upon us.

So, what are the ideas Prada will put forward this season? Where last year saw the Italian fashion house do away with the deep concepts with a focus on technical craftsmanship to thwart imitators, this season’s influences are anyone’s guess—which is kind of the exciting part, right?

This season also makes the first without Fabio Zambernardi, the design director of Prada and Miu Miu, who resigned last year after three decades by Miuccia’s side. For the Spring/Summer 2024 show last September, he joined the designers for a closing bow and received a standing ovation from the crowd. His mark will be sorely missed, but it ushers in a new chapter for the house.

Taking place on Thursday, February 22nd at 2 pm in Milan (that’s midnight AEST), the show can watched live at the link below or on the Prada website. Happy viewing!
