As adults you should best believe that our parents have even just a small say on our partner. Just ask Kaia Gerber. But while we all have an opinion on Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s surprise relationship – yes, including Kanye West – we’ve only just heard from the comedian’s mother.

Overnight a fan account reposted a paparazzi photo of Kardashian and Davidson driving through Los Angeles before sharing a kiss. One user commented on the video, “She will be pregnant with his child by the end of the year.” Davidson’s mother, Amy Waters Davidson made a surprise response to comment writing, “Yayyyy!”.

The comment has since been deleted but not before eagled-eye fans could take a myriad of screenshots.

As for Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, in a teaser for the upcoming Hulu reality series The Kardashians she simply reacted to the romance, saying, “This is a relationship that I don’t think anyone saw coming.” Same Kris, same.

The Saturday Night Live star has already received an all-important nod of approval from Khloé Kardashian who commented on their recent ‘Instagram official’ moment writing, “I love this”.

According to a source for E! News however, the comedian is yet to meet Kardashian’s four children, North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. “Kim loves having him around her family and sisters,” the insider told the publication. “They are getting pretty serious and Kim’s excited to incorporate him more into her life.”

Last week, the reality star and beauty mogul revealed that Davidson had several tattoos in honour of her including “KIM” which was quite literally branded into his skin. “Yes…I just think he was like, ‘I want something that’s there that I can’t, you know, get rid of my tattoos,’” she explained in an interview with Ellen Degeneres. “He’s in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats. So he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or cover it up and I just wanted it there as like a scar on me.’”
