Forget red carpet events and lavish dinners, Pete Davidson and Emily Ratajkowski prefer to do things a little more low key. After weeks of romance rumours, the famous duo attended a New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden overnight in their first public outing as a couple. The official @nyknicks Instagram account shared a photo of Davidson and Ratajkowski enjoying a beer court side.
The model and author wore a The North Face brown puffer jacket, faded denim jeans and snake skin knee-high boots while Davidson wore a blue tracksuit. Judging by his hair, it also looks like he got stuck in a wind tunnel… but we can’t quite explain that.
Davidson is not stranger to debuting a new relationship court side. He was seen with Bridgerton star Phoebe Dynevor at Wimbledon in 2021 while he was spotted making out with Kate Beckinsale during their very brief relationship at a Rangers game at The Garden in 2019.
This most recent date night comes after reports that the couple celebrated Thanksgiving together. The model and comedian were spotted in the background of a Friendsgiving dinner with the chief brand officer of Bumble last week before the post was swiftly deleted.
They were seen together for the first time on Davidson’s 29th birthday. Paparazzi followed Ratajkowski to the door of a building where she was seen embracing Davidson – in matching outfits no less – before they walked down the hallway into privacy.
Ratajkowski split with her husband of three years Sebastian Bear-McClard in July after multiple reports he cheated. But it appears the model approved of Davidson long before they started dating. Ratajkowski explained the allure of the SNL alum during his relationship to Kim Kardashian.
Speaking to Seth Meyers she said, “Guys are like, ‘Wow. What’s that guy got? And I’m like, I mean, he seems super charming. He’s vulnerable. He’s lovely. His fingernail polish is awesome. He looks good!” Ratajkowski added that he also has a “super great relationship with his mom.”
